Winter Faire 2022

Call For Vendors and Sponsors!

Interest forms are due 11/13/22 – Only a few spaces remain! Confirmation of vendor space will be sent by 11/16.

We are now looking for vendors and sponsors for this year’s Winter Faire on Saturday, December 3. We are seeking vendors that sell items or provide services utilizing natural materials such as wool, cotton, wood, beeswax, etc. Vendor fees are $25 per booth. Please note that these booths are separate from *class booths.* Details and interest forms for interested vendors and sponsors can be found here.

This is a parent-run event! The more involvement we have, the more magical it will be for our community.

Donation Request

Practical Arts is requesting scrap plywood. She’ll be starting woodworking projects with students depending on availability and mostly cost of lumber.

From Sunni: “Before I make an order I am wondering if anyone has any scrap plywood laying around they wouldn’t mind sharing with Practical Arts? I am happy to do the cutting on larger pieces!”

For donation drop-offs, please contact Sunni Bell at sunni.bell@waldorflouisville.com

Athletics at WSL

Archery season is here and we’re excited to announce that we are starting an archery club this year. Our coaches will be Jeff Caufield and John Fauver with Olivia Pendleton as assistant coach. Practices will be on Mondays and Fridays from 3:30-4:45pm in the WSL gym. There will be a couple of opportunities to compete this year as well! The archery season will run from November 18th, 2022 to February 10, 2023. An informational meeting will be held in the gym on Monday, November 14th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. There will be an athletic fee of $100, which will include supplies and a snack. Need-based funds are available. Please try to sign your student up before November 17th, 2022
