Summer Camps

WSL is offering a Virtual summer camp for 2020

In an effort to meet the needs of our community while complying with the directives from local government and health officials, WSL is offering a VIRTUAL camp. Virtual camp includes a daily Zoom sessions with a camp director plus all the supplies for the week. It’s a virtual camp in a box! We will continue to rely on our public health officials for up-to-date information regarding the COVID-19 virus and adhere to guidelines that best ensure the safety of our faculty and campers.

The camp session is $150 per/week.  Refunds will be honored to all pre-registered campers who choose not to participate.

Together, we will make it through the stormy weather so we can enjoy the future rainbows. We look forward to hosting your summer adventure!

June 15th-19th Camp

Ms. Cari’s Virtual Weaving, Embroidery, and Music Camp
In this distance learning camp, we will focus on two forms of fiber art–weaving and embroidery.  All materials will be provided.  The largest part of our fiber arts time will be spent on a week-long weaving project.  The embroidery will take about a day or two.  In addition to enjoying fiber arts fun, we will sing and tell stories, and hey we might even throw in a virtual dance party with banjo, dulcimer and guitar music from Ms. Cari!  The camp will take place from 10:00-noon and will include snack time and a daily virtual neighborhood walk with Daisy (Ms. Cari’s dog).

Contact our Data & Development Coordinator,
Julia Kimbro if you have any questions.
